The Chief Rufus Carter Sr. Memorial Scholarship was established to remember the life and legacy of a great man, friend, father, brother, and uncle. 

Chief Carter had a passion for helping people. 

Qualifications:

• Delhi, Louisiana Resident
• Senior at Delhi High School or Delhi Charter School
• Minimal 3.5 GPA
• Accepted in a 4 year university
• Member of one of the following minority groups:
  • African American/African
  • Hispanic/Latino
  • Native North American
  • Pacific Islander

Memorial scholarship available to all African American and Hispanic seniors from Delhi, Louisiana pursuing a 4-year degree.
